Frontwoman and founder of tribal post-punk band Weave, Ivory Lee Carlson has played with, recorded with and helped to build Human Ear from the start. She gets in her home recording joy under the moniker Black Powder, recording healing dark mystery music with drum machines, drones and friends.
Black Powder appears on Human Ear's 2010 compilation series, and as co-curator of Exqusite Corpse Tapes.
