Linda Perhacs is a songwriter and composer from Los Angeles.
She is a major American singer and visionary artist. Her crucial, spellbinding 1970 album "Parallellograms" is a primary influence on several key music movements to emerge over the past 40 years. The album's combination of experimental studio techniques, spiritualistic songwriting and Perhac's unique visual scoring define a cononical moment in new music.
Though quite rare, her creative output has never been less intense, visual and transcendent. Recent collaborations include We Are The World, Daft Punk, Prefuse 73 and Julia Holter.
